Body-Informed Leadership
About Body-Informed Leadership
Body-Informed Leadership programs cultivate the internal and relational skills to ‘lead by embodiment.’ They support people to use the ways they embody, co-regulate and express themselves as a means to transform their group cultures; to align with a positive vision for the future; and to amplify their capacity to function as a creative, interconnected whole.
Held in small cohorts with direct contact and mentoring, Body-Informed Leadership programs provide well-supported, experiential environments in which to practice new ways of being, encounter personal edges and blind spots, and collectively wire up for a more just, joyful and interconnected world.
Areas of Focus
Presence
Come into contact with the embodied experience that underpins your reality. Uncover the – often unspoken – dynamics that shape your sense of self-and-other at the deepest level. Practice an embodied skillset to stay present with all that arises, and to receive the intelligence of the sensory as the place where individual and group identities are negotiated, shaped and shared.
Connection
Engage with concepts from interpersonal neurobiology, which reveal our very nature as inherently interconnected. Explore connection as a space for deep play, where we articulate our experience of being through mutual attunement.
Learn to sense, feel, and hold a transformational space for challenging dynamics arising from trauma, dysregulated attachment, and historical violence: what Body-Informed Leadership calls the ‘wounds of connection’ held within our bodies and the group field.
Power
Tap into power as a flow of aliveness, given shape by our bodies, minds, and relationships. Develop an embodied practice of power which releases dynamics of inequality at the deepest level and transforms power into something playful, life-bringing, embodied, and shared.
“I experienced such an organic learning experience, whereby my insights layered on each other over several months to emerge as a newly embodied worldview that completely transcends my previous knowing.”
